Scorpion Bay-bay

We pulled into Scorpian Bay at around sunset and were a little disappointed to see that there weren’t any waves so just decided to set up camp, put up our bug mesh (aka baby girls play pen) that we made just before leaving for the trip to make sure the bugs and mosquitos stayed out, and put the kids to sleep.  We started a fire, made some dinner and stayed up to enjoy the peace and quiet while the sounds of the ocean lulled our baby girl to sleep.  We were concerned about the heat prior to the trip but there was a cool comfortable breeze and we all slept really well.  We woke up to fun little waves and I got to paddle out first while G stayed on dad duty.  We switched back and forth like this all day playing tag team baby watcher.  Charley played on and off in the back of the truck, went on walks in the ergo, and had her first camping shower.  Kiya was in heaven playing with other dogs, swimming in the ocean, and watching us surf.    Scorpian Bay is a surfers playground with a perfect little pumping wave that hardly ever disappoints.   We had a hard time leaving as the waves picked up over night and were head high and perfect the morning we were going to leave so we decided to take advantage and ended up staying until late afternoon before embarking on long drive down to San Jose del Cabo.

Stephanie! You guys are amazing! It sounds like you are having such a fun time experiencing it all with precious Charley! I think my dad is living down in San Jose del cabo. His name is bill Hoffman so if you connect with some locals mention his name. That would be so cool if he heard from me via a friend. Continue having a blast! Looking forward to seeing you and the baby when you return! Xoxo

How’s the shoe tie in shot?! Soooooo classic! Nice work you guys. We are headed back west if no cool jobs come up in cool spots in the Western 12 states. Dec 20th is my final day if I can’t find a job.
